Restaurant Exploring
Writing it down is what makes it exploring rather than just eating
What separates it from eating out is a record and a direction: work through a cuisine, a neighbourhood, or one dish compared across places, writing down what was good and why. Within months that becomes real judgement. Going alone works fine, it just limits how many dishes one visit covers, so a place often takes two or three trips. Frequency is the budget lever, not any single meal.
First stepChoose one dish and try it at four places in the same neighbourhood over a month, noting what each does better or worse.
