Argentine Tango

No fixed sequence: every step is negotiated on the spot

Unlike salsa it has almost no set figures: the music offers no reliable repeating phrase, so what happens is negotiated between two people in the moment, which is why it is considered the hardest to learn. The connection through the upper body is everything. Milonga etiquette is strict, so watch a few before dancing.

First stepTake an intro Argentine tango class to learn the embrace and walking together, then go to one milonga just to watch and learn how invitations work.
