Tennis

The court is big, and the running is most of the sport

What separates it from the other racket sports is fitness: the court is large enough that distance covered in a point matters more than how you swing. The serve is the hardest gate, plenty of people double-fault for years, and it is worth a few lessons on its own. A wall lets you practise alone.

First stepSign up for an adult beginner clinic, most of which will loan you a racket, and by the end be rallying a few forehands and tossing a serve straight up.
