Vinyl Records

You listen to a whole side, in the order the artist chose

The difference from streaming is behaviour rather than sound: you flip the record, drop the needle and cannot skip, so an album gets heard in the order it was sequenced, which is the honest reason most people come back to it. Costs split between a decent turntable and the records. Styli wear out and need replacing.

First stepGet an entry-level turntable, dig three records out of a secondhand shop, and listen to one all the way through from side A, track one.
