Electronic Music Production
One computer is every instrument and the whole studio
A computer and headphones can carry a finished track from start to end without playing any instrument, which is the sharpest difference from the traditional path. Free plugins and software are more than sufficient. The real barrier is finishing: starting is easy, and turning an eight-bar loop into three minutes of structure is where people stop.
First stepOpen a free DAW, loop eight bars using only the stock sounds, then arrange that loop into a one-minute section that changes halfway.
