Axe Throwing

You will stick one in the first session, and distance beats force

Venues charge by the hour with instruction and safety gear included, and a complete beginner will stick one on a first visit, which is most of the appeal. The trick is not force but where you stand: the axe rotates a fixed number of turns in flight, so your distance decides whether the blade arrives first.

First stepBook a lane at an axe-throwing venue, copy the coach's grip demo, and stick one axe in the board.
