Cue Sports

Potting is the easy half; where the cue ball stops is the skill

Halls charge by the hour and you need to own nothing to play an evening. Potting comes quickly, but the gap to a real player is position: where the cue ball finishes decides whether the next shot exists at all. What you practise is weight and angle rather than aim. Indoors, weather-proof, and available all year.

First stepRent a table for an hour and practise only the stop shot, where the cue ball dies on contact.
