Reading
Putting a bad book down helps more than reading fast
A library card makes it nearly free and e-books travel, so what limits you is time rather than money. Once you keep a list of what you have finished, your choices get sharper: you can see which kinds of book you actually get to the end of, and which ones were bought to sit on a shelf. A list also makes rereading easier to justify.
First stepGet a library card, borrow three books of different kinds, and log each one you finish with a one-line note.
