Scuba Diving

It starts with a certification, and you never dive alone

The way in is an open-water certification: a few days of coursework plus pool and sea sessions, and without it nobody rents you a tank. The buddy system is both rule and safety floor, so this is structurally not a solo activity. Rent everything at first. Equalising your ears is what stops most first dives, so descend slowly.

First stepDo a pool session with an instructor first, equalising your ears and clearing a flooded mask, before committing to open-water certification.
