Saltwater Fishing

Get on a boat: the fish are bigger, and seasickness is its own problem

The usual way in is a shared place on a charter, where rods, bait and a skipper's advice come with the ticket. Two things differ most from freshwater: the fish pull far harder, so one hook-up is minutes of work, and everything metal corrodes, so rinse it afterwards. Take seasickness pills before boarding, not after.

First stepJoin a shared charter where rods and bait are supplied, take seasickness tablets beforehand, and land your first fish with the skipper's tips.
