Observing & Recording
Shells & Sea Glass
Walk the beach after the tide and pick up glass the sea has rounded
Entirely free, a pocket is enough, and the couple of hours around low tide is the window. It is the least acquisitive kind of collecting here: you cannot decide what you find, only where you walk and when. Red and orange are the rare ones, green and white the common. The same beach gives differently after a storm.
First stepWalk a beach for two hours on a falling tide after a storm, sort what you find by colour, and pick out the rarest piece.
