Fountain Pens & Inks
Nib width and ink together are what make the handwriting
Entry-level pens are cheap and a modest Japanese nib already writes well, so there is no need to start expensive. The interest is in combination: the same pen with a different ink gives a different line and flow, and the paper decides whether it feathers. Pens left unused dry and clog, so either write or flush and store.
First stepGet an inexpensive fountain pen and two different inks, write a paragraph in each on the same paper, and compare the lines and feathering.
