Skydiving

Your first jump is strapped to an instructor; solo is a separate course

The first jump is a tandem, strapped to an instructor, requiring no training at all. Jumping alone means a course, and after that every jump is paid for individually, which is why it stays expensive: the cost is repetition, not equipment. Physically it asks very little; the barrier is entirely in your head.

First stepBook a tandem jump at a licensed drop zone, strapped to an instructor, after a short ground briefing.
