Two or three a side on a half court, and the courts are everywhere
The easiest of the big team sports to get going: public courts are everywhere and a half-court three-on-three or even one-on-one still works, unlike football's twenty-odd people. You can also go alone and shoot, so it does not stall for lack of company. Intensity depends entirely on who turns up.
First stepTake a ball to the nearest outdoor court and make five from each spot, starting under the rim and stepping back one pace at a time.
