Flight Simulation

Fly by the real checklists, read start to finish before takeoff

Unlike a game it follows real procedure: checklists, radio calls, charts, and one complete short flight can take an hour. A yoke or stick with throttle is the main expense, and a keyboard works but poorly. Networks staffed by volunteer controllers run near-real radio procedure, which is why many people stay.

First stepIn a flight simulator, with a joystick or the keyboard, follow the checklist through one take-off, one circuit and one landing in a light aircraft.
