Hoop Dance

Keep a hoop moving from waist to hands to overhead without letting it drop

Adults use larger, heavier hoops than toys, which turn slowly and are easier to control. The first correction is that you don't circle your hips; you push forward and back, or side to side. Once waist hooping holds, the hoop moves to hands, neck and legs, and with steps added it becomes a routine. Size the hoop to your height.

First stepBuy an adult hoop sized to your height, practise the forward-and-back push until it stays up for a minute, then try passing it into your hand.
