Magic

Sleight of hand is half of it; the other half is misdirection

A deck of cards and a few basic moves is enough to start, with no props to buy. What decides whether it works is the other half: where the audience is looking and what you are saying. So practice has to happen in front of a person or a camera, since a hundred repetitions at a table will not reveal the angle that exposes you.

First stepLearn one complete card trick with a normal deck, rehearse it into your phone camera until you can't spot the move, then perform it for one person.
