Slacklining

One line between two trees, and three seconds standing is a start

A line and two suitably spaced trees is all it takes, and parks are full of both. Three seconds standing counts as success on the first day, and legs that will not stop shaking are normal rather than a verdict on you. What trains is core and ankle micro-correction, and after a few sessions two steps abruptly becomes possible.

First stepRig a starter kit with tree protectors between two trees about ten metres apart, no higher than your knees, and balance on one foot for three seconds.
