Drones

Check the airspace before flying; the rules are harder than the flying

Modern aircraft hold their own position and flying one takes minutes to learn, so the real barrier is regulation: registration, controlled airspace, no-fly zones and whether you may overfly people, all varying by country and changing. The most overlooked physical factor is wind, since calm at ground level means nothing at thirty metres.

First stepCheck local registration rules and no-fly zones, then in an open space fly a beginner drone up, hover, trace a square and land where you started.
