Craft & Handwork
Paper Cutting
Fold paper, cut once, unfold a symmetrical pattern
Scissors and a sheet of paper are the whole kit, and a folded design is finished in a quarter of an hour. The hard part is not fineness but continuity: the whole pattern has to stay connected, and one cut in the wrong place drops it into separate pieces. For thinner lines people switch to a craft knife and a cutting mat.
First stepFold a sheet of red paper twice, cut a pattern with small scissors, and unfold it in one piece that hasn't fallen apart.
