Screen Printing
One pull of the squeegee is one shirt, and the twentieth matches the first
Print your own shirts, totes and posters with a starter kit that fits on a kitchen table. Emulsion on a mesh screen is exposed to make the stencil, and ink passes only where light did not reach. More colours mean separated films printed one over another, and poor registration is the beginner's usual failure. Exposing the screen needs a dim room and one lamp.
First stepWith a beginner screen-printing kit, burn a one-colour design onto a screen and print it on a tote bag.
