Bento Making

Pack a box that still tastes right hours later, at room temperature

The difficulty is not cooking but the constraint: it has to still be good after hours at room temperature, which rules out anything watery or quick to turn and makes fried and dressed dishes the useful ones. Compartments and colour are what make a box look like something. One rule is non-negotiable: cool the food completely before the lid goes on.

First stepPack one lunch in a compartment box, with rice, a protein and two vegetables, and let everything cool completely before closing the lid.
