Personal Website
One place on the internet where nobody else sets the rules
The difference from posting on a platform is ownership: the domain and the content are yours, the design is yours, and nobody's algorithm changes underneath you. Technically it is simple, with free static hosting and a domain costing little. The hard part is updating it, since most personal sites die after launch, so keep it plain.
First stepUsing free static hosting, build a single page with an about section and one post, and publish it at a public address.
