Candle Making

Melt the wax, pour it into a mould, and keep the wick dead centre

A pot of wax, a wick and a container is the whole thing, and an evening yields several. Temperature decides almost everything: poured too hot it cracks, too cool it sinks, so a thermometer beats judgement. Fragrance has an upper limit, and past it the candle does not smell stronger, it smells acrid. Soy wax washes up easily and suits a first attempt.

First stepWith soy wax, one wick and a glass jar, pour one container candle using a thermometer, and wait overnight before lighting it.
