Writing
You cannot revise nothing, and the first draft is where people stall
It costs nothing, so the barrier sits elsewhere: most people stall on the first draft, because editing while drafting means never finishing. The workable order is to let it be bad, finish, and only then revise, since revision is far easier than generation. A fixed slot beats inspiration, and five hundred words a day accumulates surprisingly fast.
First stepSet a fixed half hour every day, write five hundred words without editing as you go, and read them back after a week.
