Poetry
There are so few words that each one has to carry weight
The difference from prose is density: with so little room every word has to work, and most adjectives can go. The practice is reading, and reading aloud in particular, because rhythm and line breaks can only be judged by ear. Not rhyming is entirely legitimate. Leave a draft for a few days and the false lines become visible.
First stepWrite a poem of ten lines or fewer, read it aloud, and cut every adjective it can survive without.
