Jewellery Making

The same metalwork at ring scale, with a finish the wearer will notice

It is the same sawing, filing and soldering, but shrinking the scale shrinks the tolerance: half a size out and a ring will not go on. The polishing standard is far higher than elsewhere in metalwork, because the piece sits against skin and a single file mark can be felt. Stone setting is a separate craft you can postpone for a long time.

First stepTake an intro jewellery class, measure your ring size, and saw, solder and polish one plain band.
