Homebrewing
Boil the wort, pitch the yeast, and wait weeks to learn whether it worked
Start with a kit: boil, chill, pitch yeast, wait, and it is two or three weeks before you drink anything. Failures nearly always have the same cause — incomplete sanitising, one stray microbe, a whole batch gone sour — so cleaning matters far more than the recipe. Priming sugar at bottling is calculated, not guessed; too much and bottles burst.
First stepBuy an ingredient kit and a fermenter, sanitise every piece of equipment, brew your first batch, and bottle it two or three weeks later.
