The practice surface is your own face, with no model to arrange, which is why it starts more easily than most crafts. The core technique is blending, and an edge you cannot find is the standard. Watch your lighting: a face built under warm bulbs often reads as a different colour in daylight. Brushes deserve the money more than product.
